Didn't expect this take on productivity, but your line 'The weeks where I don’t feel busy, just effective' truly hit home, articulatin' exactly what I'm aiming for in my own work balancing teaching and lesson prep.

Like this framework. Do you block time on your calendar for those batch processing blocks? And if so, does it help or hurt (or neither)?

Another layer to this that I have not been good with is adding a weekly recap: what are 3-5 wins/accomplishments from the week and what are 3-5 P1s (as you call them) for next week? Conceptually speaking, it serves as a means for self review (was I focused this week) and hitting Monday with already planned focus (helps with communicating up too, tho not the point here). Practically speaking, I’ve struggled to build this habit so i wonder if it’s that valuable (or I’m just lazy 😂).
